Along with vaginal changes, urinary tract changes may also take place. The lining of the urethra also become less elastic, thinner, and drier due to the reduction in estrogen levels within the body. This may cause urinary tract infection. Women might want to urinate more frequently and urinary incontinence can occur due to urine leakage through sneezing, coughing, and laughing.

    Certain emotional changes may also occur during the onset of menopause. One of which are mood swings. Women can get depressed easily, become anxious and nervous, and get irritable due to hormonal changes occurring inside the body.
