During a lengthy healing Ayurvedic retreat in India, the doctor said something that struck a chord. I relayed the exceptional experience of a “collecting up” of energies I was feeling when he repeated mantras and put his hands over my crown and beneath my first chakra or base of the spine.
I, also, used to cringe at claiming the name or function of “healer” since the word did not really match what I knew to be true–which I was never really “healing” anybody (whew, what a relief!) As it was a exceptional conversation and agreement between the recipients’ inner healer, or higher self, or mind/body innate wisdom, and Universal Life Force.
I was just the conduit, or the automobile, for the flow of life force energy to the receiver. This consciousness always disturbs me and took plenty of pressure off to “understand” how to cure or worse yet, to need to do it correctly so I could”save” someone. While this understanding that I am not the healer enables me to stay more detached, it certainly does not diminish the efficacy of Reiki healing.
When I teach Reiki, I tell students that they’re not”doing” recovery, but enabling the Universal Life Force to flow through them into the receiver, and that the receiver’s own Inner Healer, or innate wisdom will incorporate and use the energy where it is most needed, addressing the source of the imbalance on the suitable level of brain, body or soul. While everyone has this component of Inner Healer, most individuals aren’t consciously activating it, or even cooperating with it.
Here are some initial actions to take to open the channels to your Inner Healer. Whatever you label it, internal healer, greater self, innate wisdom, the body’s inner intelligence, your decision to fully believe and acknowledge that there’s an infinitely intelligent and extremely intricate process that permits all creation to operate, permits you to breathe without effort, and orchestrates all of the billions of micro-processes that occur on your body constantly must be confessed.
As our mindset takes in a belief, it does become a reality. All of us know how it feels to be around positive people versus negative ones. When you’re sick, who would you choose to be about? People with a vision for your complete and fast recovery, or people who say it’s impossible and worry constantly? In precisely the exact same manner, if we downplay or deny that this ability to trigger our Inner Healer, what outcome do you think it will have?
Doran continues, and have a beneficial impact on the body’s cells and when the loving intention is preserved, even cause changes in the DNA structure. There’s great power in opinion and creating great feelings; if you’re damaging it will diminish your outcomes and immediately weaken you, per Dr. Hawkins.
So why not decide to believe in the power of your Inner Healer and give it some love today? Your Inner Healer is much more sophisticated and infinitely capable than you might ever imagine. Why don’t you open up a dialog to engage your inner healer? Many years back I had been having horrible stomach cramps that actually escalated when I attempted to complete a legal brief. Time was running out and I could not get any work done.
What to do?
A smart friend suggested I “speak” to my gut and ask why it’s so painful! I had never tried anything this”far out”, but I was at my wit’s end. I was facing losing my job if I missed the court deadline so I did not have a lot to lose. So I asked,”What are you trying to convey?” to my belly. Instantly, I had the awareness that it was a result of a very rigid perfectionism I had been holding about the undertaking.
I was anticipating the legal argument to be perfectly articulated first time out, which has been preventing me from writing in any way. The response seemed to come obviously that if I just put pen to paper without needing it to be perfect yet, I could release the tightness I was feeling. It worked and I still use this now to conquer my fear of imperfection, especially when writing.
Aspects of Self
Mind-body-spirit are infinitely capable of addressing everything that’s out of equilibrium with us. Have a conversation with your cells, your marvelous immune system, your brave circulatory system, your individual organs, your brilliant DNA. This dialogue may be the beginning of a beautiful friendship! Then, take another step and get attuned to the maximum frequency of healing power you may find.
They are those that will need to be in, entirely committed to their preferred technique so that they are completely aligned and embodying the maximum potential of the path. Even after two years, my personal favorite remains traditional Usui Reiki. The exceptional attunements or energetic broadcasts are incredibly healing and they automatically trigger your Inner Healer. Among the coolest things about Reiki is the possibility for the novice to have instant and lasting healing results with very little practice or research.
