These headaches often start with a sudden, sharp pain on one side of the head. They can occur in clusters, which is why they are called. They can last for days, weeks or months before disappearing. They can return to the scene months or even years later. They can appear and disappear several times per day. They can last anywhere between a few minutes and several hours.

Cluster Headaches

These can cause a lazy eyelid, or even perspiration on the area where the pain is located. The symptoms can be partially relieved by moving around. There is rarely any nausea or vomiting. The pain can radiate from one eye, and it may become red or teary. It might also be accompanied by side nasal congestion. Tension headaches can present as low-level pain that can range from low to mid level. It can be felt on both your head. It starts low and builds slowly to its maximum.

These sensations are often accompanied by pain or tightness in the neck or back of the head. It may also be felt around your temples and forehead. It is caused by tension and is more characterized by tightness of the muscles than other types of headaches. These can be very painful and can happen daily.

Migraine

Migraines usually affect one side of your head, and the pain is throbbing. The pain can be severe and range from the middle to high levels. They can last for several hours or even days. I don’t mean to scare anyone or make the hypochondriac out of you, but it is important to be sensible and know when you should seek medical attention for yourself or someone you care about. Too many people don’t seek regular physical exams to catch potential life-threatening conditions early enough to receive treatment. You have to take care of your health.
