Recently, I’ve had the chance to travel to numerous women’s conventions and talk to dozens of women entrepreneurs about their Big Ideas, Dreams and . Questions come up on a range of topics such as how to begin a company to choosing an existing to the next level of success.

Success

One question that seems to have a recurring theme at this time is “How do I create a successful company while keeping work/?” Great question! And one that deserves a response with some solid strategies and solutions. Allow me to start by sharing with you I don’t actually believe there’s”work/life” equilibrium. My is that women reflect on and announce their values which are private to them and make a life to support those values.

I put a high value on 3 areas in my own life; -care, and encouraging women to live the life they want – and deserve. Does it work perfectly? Of course not. Kids get sick, dishwasher laptops and breaks blow up! I will share that it will work 80 percent of the time since I’ve decided to be proactive with daily rituals to after myself, my family and my company. Do you have rituals for achievement in your life and business?

Solitude

Learning how to just “be” is among the best gifts you’ll ever give to yourself. For those who get a busy lifestyle (like me) you will have to plan for privacy. I go for walks by myself, spend a couple of hours in my house alone and occasionally take a personal weekend escape.

Meditation is now an important part of my life. It’s a tool I use frequently to help me get clear, focused and centered. Sitting quietly for 5 minutes can make a dramatic influence on your day. Depending on my schedule, I meditate for at least 5 minutes and a maximum of 20 minutes.

Negative Environments

Make a conscious effort to avoid negative surroundings. Surround yourself with positive,”healthy” individuals that are success-oriented and believe in abundance. Having a supportive environment generates and fresh ideas.

Quality Not Quantity

It’s my view that quality time is more important than quantity time with family and friends. With a busy household and growing company, I realize I can’t do everything, however I ensure I’m focused and present for my family daily as it actually counts.

Focus Time

Success comes to those who plan for it. It’s vital that you create attention time for your business and your private life. Plan to spend at least 1 hour per week reviewing where you are now and where you need to go in the future. Make sure that the action steps you’re taking will help you to get the results you desire.

Coaching And Mentoring

It’s vital to have a”believing” partner along the way in your journey. Here’s what I know for certain: You can’t do this on your own. Having someone there to encourage you and challenge your thinking can help shorten your journey to success.

Ask – Period

Stop attempting to be”.” It affects your and well-being. I know it is a struggle to ask for everything you want or need, however if you dream of observing a successful company while maintaining a loving, healthy, family – it is the only way. Here’s what I’ve heard: people love supporting you. Relatives will create stronger bonds with your children as they have more time together and there are people out there right now who’d like to assist you accomplish your vision.

Conclusion

Being proactive instead of reactive in your life and business can make a significant difference in how your day unfolds. It’s not perfect but it’s pleasurable to be residing in the 80/20 window of life. 80 percent of the time it works superbly and naturally there’s always that 20% that just about puts you over the border! I invite you to think about adding one or two of those rituals to your own life and business. A mentor once shared with me that”the smallest change can create the most dramatic effects.” That is true here. Anything is possible. Everything is waiting for you.
