I foolishly called my friend telling her I was near menopause. This is absurd but nothing else came to my mind at that moment. I just turned 30 years and my very best friend thinks my biological clock is ticking, now am faced with this, so I blamed it on melancholy, “that easy” I thought.
Menopause
Menopause is the period in a woman’s life, when menstrual periods ceases permanently and in this time, she can not conceive because the use of the ovary stops too. This method happens slowly, Not Overnight and it changes in women’s life also between age 45 – 55 decades. I started to manufacture unrealistic symptoms on my mind,”you can not imagine,” but symptoms of menopause include strange virginal bleeding, hot flashes, virginal and sinus disease(s) amongst others, based on researches.
I thought of the chances of this happening today and so many unimaginable things. I can not tell why I constantly think about the worse of situations and this makes me get mad easily. Now all I wanted was a psychologist to talk me out of the scary tale. Forgive me if I panicked but what was I supposed to do? The study lasted and here are grounds for abnormality in menstrual, which I settled for.
It exposed the fact that the majority of women experience abnormal bleeding sooner or later, it might be long/ short intervals, light or heavy periods or even missed periods and this is because of hormonal imbalance. Hormonal imbalance can rise from dramatic changes in weight, vigorous exercise, excessive anxiety, or even as a side effect of some drugs.
Conclusion
Although, early menopause in women can occur before age 40, but may be due to some specific medical treatments or might be genetic. What a scare I gave to myself! I still have time afterall, understanding that my biological clock was ideal is a relief. I pray to age with grace.
