This is flu season. The latest flu viruses test our immune systems. The 19th version of flu has been called COVID (COronaVIrusDisease) instead of simply the flu. All flus are coronaviruses, but the use of a more frightening name has made it more fearsome, compounding its effect on those who don’t realize it is another flu. Despite the variety of flu viruses, there is one thing they all have in common: they thrive in acidic environments and die in alkaline environments.
It is easier for the body and virus to be wiped out using simpler methods than complex chemical vaccines. The pH of our bloodstream is the range between acidity to alkalinity. Viruses cannot survive in blood pH levels that are slightly alkaline or near neutral. They will thrive in an acidic environment. We want to prevent them from becoming acidic.
How? You can eat a lot of fruits, vegetables, seafood, beans, nuts, and seeds. Our bodies will stay healthy and free from flu if we eat a balance of 80% acid-forming foods and 20% alkaline-forming foods. Acid-forming foods like wheats, meats, and dairy are fine in balance (i.e. 20% of what we consume).

Avoid processed foods (foods that come in cans, boxes and packages), junk food, sugars and corn syrups, soft drink, and other junk food. These are the things most people love. Stressed and negative thinking are two of the biggest contributors to acidic pH. They can actually cause our bodies to become very acidic physical toxic substances. Take one lemon juice and add it to a glass of warm spring water. A half teaspoon of baking soda mixed in water is also recommended.
What about the environment? Did you know that the air ducts in our houses could pose a potential problem? My parents would always get the flu from the heat in their house. They have never had an autumn cold or flu since I convinced them to have their air ducts cleaned by Sears, as well as other companies. Their ducts hadn’t been cleaned since the 1940s when the house was built. The ducts were covered in thick black soot, which was a breeding ground for germs every year that were recirculated and inhaled each time the heat rose. It is amazing what you can find in those ducts. This also applies to central-air-conditioned homes.
Although we can’t do much about the schools and offices we spend hours in each day, we can at least get more restful sleep at night at home if the ductwork is professionally cleaned.
Johns-Hopkins’ longitudinal study found that flu shots are not recommended as a preventive measure. It showed that people who have had five flu shots in five consecutive years were 10 times more likely to develop dementias or Alzheimer’s. This is due to the high level of heavy metals in this and all other vaccines. In the opinion of this author, side-effects caused by heavy metals are too numerous to be considered a reasonable prevention.
Antibiotics are not effective in treating viruses, so we didn’t mention them. They can be effective against bacteria (in moderation) but they are not effective against the staph or strep bacteria that causes sinus infections and sore throats.
Nature also offers a natural alternative to bacteria, staph or strep. It has no side effects. Propolis is a bee product. Propolis lines the beehives which are 100% free of viruses, fungus and bacteria — better than any O.R. What if it’s too late to prevent? Two capsules of cayenne pepper powder mixed with a large glass water. This will clear your arteries and kill any virus. You can sip this on an empty stomach for half an hour to an hour. It will temporarily alkalize and kill the virus.
A half teaspoon of baking soda mixed with warm water is another bloodstream alkalizer. In a large glass, add about 10,000 mg vitamin C powder. Although it may send you to the toilet, it will flush out any invaders. Place a few drops of 3% hydrogenperoxide solution in one ear and place it on your side. Let it fizz up. Once it has dissolved, roll it over onto a towel or tissue to drain. Next, repeat the process for the other ear. This last method is a bit odd, but it works for most flus and colds.
The “rest in bed” and “drink lots of fluids” will speed up recovery if the flu or cold has progressed beyond the first day. It will also prevent others from getting it, thank you very greatly.
